The more distant (or even the suburban) areas of Prague might be satisfactorily particularly for car drivers, who want to avoid the traffic jams, that are very common in the city centre. Public transport is provided to all of the city districts (the farther areas are served by trams and buses, following up the metro stations). However, the transport may be lenghty in some cases. If you decide to take a taxi, we advise you to pay attention to the taxi rates, as the prices may be exaggerated. Localities offering a fairly wide choice of hotel facilities are as follows: Ruzyne hotels (western outskirts of the city, near the international airport); hotels in the quarters of Brevnov & Motol & Liboc (west of the centre, near the White Mountain, good access to the D5 motorway); Zbraslav hotels (southern edge of the city, by the road R4 to the southern Bohemia); Chodov & Hostivar hotels (housing estate South Town, near the Hostivar Reservoir, by the D1 motorway).
