Prague 8 is located in the north of Prague. It is a very heterogeneous district because it includes areas bordering on the Old Town: Karlin – the oldest Prague suburb and Liben which became part of Prague in 1901. Apart from the more distant areas (partly linked to the centre via line C: Kobylisy, Dablice), we would like to mention the northern part of popular area Troja (ZOO, Troja castle) – its southern part is in Prague 7.
Attractivity of hotels in Prague 8 depends in a great degree on their location in relation to city centre. Karlin (famous old suburban area) or places near the metro line will have better market position to Prague 8 hotels on the northern city border. Those hotels will definitely offer you competitive prices and is some cases better comfort than their central counterparts. In Prague 8 there are nine natural protected areas and good communication possibilities to north of Czech Republic and eastern parts of Germany (Berlin, Dresden).
