Sedlec is a tiny quarter in the northern suburbs of the city on the left bank of the Vltava River. It forms a part of the administrative district Prague 6. Drivers can take advantage of a good access to the D8 motorway in the direction of Usti nad Labem & Dresden, as well as to the road R7 in the direction of Chomutov & Chemnitz. If you want to stay in a hotel in this area, it is possible to find some of them in the adjacent Suchdol, or in the town of Roztoky (the original residence of Czech princes – Levy Hradec – was located on the territory of Roztoky in the 9th century). More hotel facilities are offered closer the Prague centre, eg. by the Dejvice hotels.
