Radlice is a quarter south of the city centre on the left bank of the Vltava River, lying in the administrative district Prague 5. In the southern part can be found the Devin hill, where the decisive battle of the mythical Czech Girls' War reputedly took place - the men crushingly beat the revolting women and force them to obedience. The location makes possible a good access to both the motorways D1 to Brno and D5 in the direction of Plzen (Pilsen)&Bavaria, as well as the road R4 to the southern Bohemia. If you are looking for hotel accommodation in the neighbourhood, more hotel facilities are provided by the nearby Smichov hotels. You can also choose a hotel on the opposite bank of the Vltava River (eg. in the districts of Nove Mesto, Podoli, or Nusle).
