The Lesser Town is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, on the slopes below the Castle and is linked with the Old Town via the Charles Bridge. You will be welcome by a calm and relaxed atmosphere here. The most significant sight is the baroque St. Nicholas Church. Another interesting place is the Petrin hill, where you can arrive by funicular railway. There is the Observation Tower, a replica of the Eifell Tower in Paris, on the top. Hotels are not too numerous here, but their quality is quite good. If they are booked up, try to find a hotel in the Old Town, which is just accross the river.
