Liboc is a scenic quarter west of the city centre, belonging to the administrative district Prague 6. You can visit the Hvezda Enclosure, dominated by the Hvezda Summer Palace (a star-shaped Renaissance hunting lodge). It is notorious as a place of final resistance of Czech troops during the battle of White Mountain in 1620. An area of breathtaking scenic beauty is situated in the northern part of the quarter - the Divoka Sarka valley with bizzare rock formations. A few hotels can be found here. More facilities are provided by the nearby Ruzyne hotels (the international Ruzyne Airport is located there).
