Karlin is located east of the centre and it is possible to reach it on foot. You can come here also by underground (Line B, Stations: Florenc, Krizikova and Invalidovna). A few interesting attractions are situated here, eg. a 1111-metres- long railway viaduct, neo-romanesque church of Sts. Cyril and Method or the so-called Invalidovna, a huge residence for war invalids from the 18th century. You can find here enough hotels, so you will have a wide choice, when looking for suitable accomodation.
