Hostivar is a large quarter east of the city centre in the administartive district Prague 15. The biggest allure can be found in its eastern part - the Hostivar dam. It was built in the 1960s and with a total capacity of 35.000 is used for recreational purposes. You can reach the quarter by trams No. 22, 26, 57, and 59. Several hotels are scattered north of the dam. Its location enables a good access to the main roads, so the Hostivar hotels can be suitable as a stop for drivers too.
