Dejvice is located not far from the city centre in the northern direction. It is accessible by metro (Line A, Station: Dejvicka) and has a good connection for Ruzyne Airport. You can take a pleasant walk to the ruins of Baba, from where you will have a nice view of the Vltava valley. Farther to the west you will find the beautiful valley of the Sarka brook, which should have been the scene of the legendary Girls’ war. There are a few hotels in this district. As it is located near the Castle area, they may be a good basis for sightseeing.
