Chodov is a large quarter southeast of the city centre in the administrative district Prague 11. One of the biggest housing developments in Prague lies here - the South Town (Jizni Mesto). On its western boundary you can find the favourite recreational area Kunraticky forest, where the well-known Kunratice cross-country run takes place every year. You can reach it comfortably by metro (Line C, Stations: Roztyly, Chodov, Opatov). As it is situated by the motorway D1 in the direction of Brno, drivers may have a stop in one of the Chodov hotels. However, the offer of hotels is not too wide. If you look for more hotel facilities, you can find them closer the city centre.
