Brevnov is a quarter of an elongated shape stretching from the Petrin hill as far as the White Mountain in the west. It is a part of the administrative district Prague 6. The biggest attraction is the Benedictine Bevnov Monastery with Baroque St. Margaret's Church, standing on the site of the oldest monastery in Bohemia (founded in 993 by St. Adalbert). In the eastern part can be found a large complex of sports facilities with the Great Strahov Stadium - with the area of 6 hectares the largest one in the world. Several hotels have been scattered over the quarter. You can also choose one of the nearby Stresovice or Smichov hotels. The Mala Strana hotels may be a good alternative too, but you should expect higher prices there.
